Warranty terms
Here, the terms of the provided warranty are explained.
When you purchase a (refurbished) product from us, it comes with a hardware warranty, excluding parts that are sensitive to wear. The warranty period is specified for each product.
Warranty on included accessories
Any included accessories, such as cables or chargers, come with a 6-month warranty.
Battery
If the battery does not function properly within 12 months of delivery, it will be replaced free of charge if it falls within our warranty terms. A properly functioning battery is defined as:
A battery with at least 75% of its original capacity at the date of delivery.
Internal electronics
If the internal connections are damaged or not functioning properly, they will be replaced free of charge, provided it falls within the warranty terms. Signs of faulty connections include:
Buttons that do not work properly or stick.
Buttons that are not functional.
Software
If the software has issues not caused by downloads from the buyer or known internal bugs from the calculator manufacturer, free support or a free fix will be provided, provided it falls within the warranty terms. Signs of faulty software include:
Black screen at startup.
Strange colors on the screen.
Incorrect syntax.
Some issues are not covered under the warranty. The following are excluded:
User-caused damage
Any damage caused by the user, such as moisture, drops, impacts, or other user-induced damage, is always excluded from the warranty. Products with such damage can never be processed under warranty.
Bending of the casing after use
Damage resulting from the bending of the device casing over time is not covered by the warranty, unless caused by a manufacturing defect at the time of delivery.
Defects after unauthorized repairs
If the device has been repaired by third parties without permission from refurbished.nl, defects resulting from these repairs are not covered under the warranty.
Use of non-original parts
If the device shows notifications indicating the use of non-original parts, but still functions normally, this is not covered by the warranty.
Costs for software reinstallation and repair shipping
Costs associated with reinstalling software or shipping the device for repair are not covered by the warranty and may be charged as inspection fees.
Liquid damage
GRBazaar.com does not provide any warranty for liquid damage.
Procedure for defects
If you unfortunately experience a defect within the warranty period, you can return your order to our repair center free of charge, after which we will repair or replace your defective product. Send an email to service@grbazaar.com to register your product for repair. If you received a damaged item, it must always be reported within one week. Contact our customer service for this.
All items you purchase from us are covered by the statutory warranty. Statutory warranty means that a product must perform as a consumer can reasonably expect. For refurbished products, this is typically 6 months. Additionally, GRBazaar.com provides a standard 1-year warranty. This warranty does not affect your statutory warranty. The 1-year period applies to purchases from April 2025 onwards.
If a complaint for which a product has been submitted does not fall under the warranty, inspection and shipping costs may be charged.
Returns outside the return procedure
If you return a product outside our standard return procedure, courier transport costs may be charged. These extra costs cannot be claimed from GRBazaar.com.
Inspection costs (Outside warranty)
If you send a product that does not fall under our warranty terms, inspection and shipping costs may be charged. These costs can vary per item.
